During 2018, The Good Samaritan Rescue Mission provided over 28.698 nights of emergency shelter to 976 homeless men, women, and children in Bay County.

The Good Samaritan Rescue Mission provides emergency shelter for intact families, recovering substance abusers, single parents, veterans, men, women, and children from all walks of life.

2020 VISION TO OPEN SAMARITAN YOUTH SHELTER
Presently there is no emergency shelter provider for youth aged 12 to 17 in Bay County. With your participation, money raised will go to provide that service at Good Samaritan Rescue Mission for at risk and vulnerable youth at a time in their life where they most need love, direction, and safety.
Since 2010, The Amazing Race for Rescue has seen 600 race participants raise over $82,000 for the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission.

SERVICES PROVIDED
The shelter provides temporary emergency shelter for 7 days. After 7 days, the length of time a person stays is based on their case management plan. Individuals are provided with one-on-one assistance tailored to the individual provided by a well-trained staff. Three meals are served daily. Guests receive clothing and personal care items. The Shelter also provides practical living skills training, employment readiness training, vocational training, and assisted transitional living.

HOW IS YOUR DONATION USED?
Your donation will be used to directly impact the lives of men, women, and children who receive shelter at the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission. Your donation provides nights of shelter in a warm, safe environment and the provision of 3 meals per day for those residing in the shelter.
